The prolonged rains in Gujarat may resume from July 11. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in South and Central Gujarat from July 11 to 13. In the last 24 hours, there has been scattered rain in 7 tehsils in the state.

Dhanduka in Ahmedabad district has received 19 mm of rain and Dang’s Waghai tehsil has received 10 mm of rain. 5 mm of rain has been received in Vansada in Navsari, 2 in Kaprada in Valsad, 1 in Veraval, 1 in Gandevi and 1 mm in Ahwa tehsil of Dang.

In all cities including Ahmedabad, people have become troubled by the humidity and heat as the rains stopped. Due to the sudden stop of rain, there has been a huge increase in the temperature. So far, it has received an average of 4.84 inches of rain. In the last 24 hours, rain has been reported in 7 tehsils of the state. Rain has been predicted in Gujarat due to the new system being active in the Bay of Bengal. The weather of the state will change from Sunday and there will be heavy rain.
