Lions Club Mohali handed over state-of-the-art goods to the traffic police.

In order to ensure smooth functioning of the traffic management in the district at night, the Lions Club has given modern night lighting accessories to the district traffic police. In this regard, SP Traffic Mohali Gurjot Singh Kler said that today modern equipment has been provided by the members of Lions Club in the District Managerial Complex so that the traffic system can be run smoothly during night time.

On this occasion many dignitaries including Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation Mohali Kuljit Singh Bedi were present. SP Traffic said that many times there were many problems due to use of common baton to divert traffic due to jams at night etc., but now getting new type of baton will help the soldiers.

He said that the motorists plying in the city should not park their vehicles on the side of the road due to which there is a possibility of accident. He said that the drivers of the city are given information from time to time by the traffic police. On this occasion, Deputy Mayor Kuljeet Bedi said that due to the availability of state-of-the-art equipment to the city police, they will be able to do their work in a better way.
