A youth resident of Gomo Vishunpur died after being hit by a truck near Kandedih of Topchanchi police station area on Monday morning. At the same time, a young man sitting on the bike with him was seriously injured. Both were going to the online exam center in Dhanbad and in the meantime a lot of cattle came in their way. As soon as the bike was braked, a speeding truck coming from behind crushed him.
After the incident, the driver fled leaving the truck on the spot. The deceased was identified as Anil Sharma’s son Sobil Sharma (19). The injured youth, Amit, is Sobil’s nephew. As soon as both of them reached near Kandedih by bike, they stopped the car after seeing a dozen cattle standing on GT Road. In this sequence, the truck coming from behind trampled both of them.
Crowd of people gathered at the spot.
The people present at the spot informed the police and sent the injured youth to the hospital. Let us inform that Amit’s mother, who was injured, had passed away last month. She was suffering from illness. Now after this incident, the whole family has been shaken. On getting the news of the incident, the family members have become very sad.
