On Wednesday, under the leadership of Haryana Congress Legislature Party Deputy Leader and Nuh MLA Chaudhary Aftab Ahmed, different units of Mewat Congress demonstrated against the BJP government at the district headquarters against the continuous price hike of food items. Congress workers marching on foot from the district headquarters reached the main market of the city, where they kept shouting slogans against the BJP government for hours.
Aftab Ahmed said that this demonstration was done on the call of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former President Rahul Gandhi and under their leadership the Congress will continue to perform till the BJP government is forced to reduce inflation. Leading the protest against the BJP government, CLP Deputy Leader Chaudhary Aftab Ahmed said that on one hand people are suffering from Corona and on the other side they are troubled by inflation. He said that in the last one year, the Haryana government has increased petrol and diesel by Rs 20 per liter, which is shameful. LPG has increased from Rs 414 to Rs 910 per cylinder in the BJP government, while the price of mustard oil was Rs 52 per kg in the Congress government, and today it has reached Rs 180 in the BJP rule.
MLA Chowdhary Aftab Ahmed said that the inflation has not reduced yet that on the first date, the Modi government increased the price of cylinders to the citizens of the country and then issued a dictatorial decree. Was the central government formed by the common man so that such a game should continue with the poor? PCC member Chaudhary Mahtab Ahmed said that on one hand the corona infection has spoiled the economic condition of the common man and on the other hand the common man is suffering due to the rising inflation. Petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing. Now the rising prices of kitchen items are making people cry. The situation of inflation is that pulses have started getting away from the kitchens of poor and middle class families. To keep immunity strong during the Corona period, doctors are asking to take protein-rich diet, so where is it possible.
