Sunil continued to work as a soldier for 5 years under the name of Anil Kumar.
Police in Moradabad today arrested a fake constable. It is alleged that he remained a soldier and worked at his brother-in-law’s place for 5 years. When the officers came to know about the matter, the fake soldier was taken into custody today. DIG Shalabh Mathur has ordered a probe into the entire episode.
Anil Kumar 2011 batch constable
Anil Kumar is a 2011 batch constable. He is a resident of Khatauli town of Muzaffnagar. His brother-in-law Sunil Kumar is also a resident of Khatauli. Anil Kumar had duty on PRV. He was selected for the post of teacher about five years ago. He put his brother-in-law Sunil alias Sunny on duty. Fake constable Sunil continued to work in the name of Anil Kumar as a constable for 5 years. Nobody even noticed it.
open distinction on complaint
After receiving a confidential complaint to the departmental officers, the secret of employing a fake constable was revealed. After which the officers were stunned. Immediately this information was given to the DIG and other officials. As soon as the matter came to the notice, the DIG has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
SP said – will tell the reality after the completion of the investigation
Officials are hesitant to talk about this matter at the moment. The investigation of the case has been handed over to SP Rural Vidya Sagar Mishra. He says that the investigation of the case is still going on. He will not be able to say anything clearly till the investigation is over. CO Thakurdwara has also refused to speak on this for the time being.
DIG said – strict action will be taken against the culprits
Moradabad range DIG Shalabh Mathur admitted that the case of fake constable doing job in place of brother-in-law has come to his notice. He said that an inquiry has been ordered into the matter. The things that have come to the notice are being verified. Strict action will be taken against those who are guilty of this negligence. The DIG said that only after verification he would be able to give detailed information in this matter.
