Oxygen Plant in Halat

Keeping in view the Omicron variant in the third wave of Kovid in Halat Hospital of GSVM Medical College, the Hallet administration had demanded from the government to set up a unit of twenty thousand liters of Liquid Medical Oxygen. Action has also started in this direction. Preparations are being made for the future by once again reviewing the medical facilities in the dedicated Kovid building of the hospital in Hallet.

As a special preparation, the hospital administration has also demanded from the government for outsourced staff. Apart from this, the Liquid Oxygen Generation Plant from USA will arrive on 15th January at Hallett campus and it will also be installed before 31st January. This information was given by Dr. Sanjay Kala, Principal, GSVM.

One more plant is needed right now in Halt…
Dr. Sanjay Kala said, ten thousand liters of liquid medical oxygen plant will be installed in our premises by January 31. Apart from this, we will need one thousand liters of Liquid Medical Oxygen Plant for ten thousand more. Hallet is a big center and apart from Kanpur city, patients from 14 to 15 adjoining districts come here. Approval has come from the government to install this additional unit. The cost of the plant which is coming from US is more than one crore rupees.

Presently there are three PAC plants in Halat…

Let us tell you that at present three Oxygen Generation Plants (PSA) of 1000 liters per minute capacity have been installed in Hallet Hospital. Two (LMO) Liquid Medical Oxygen tanks of 10 thousand liters each have been installed. Keeping in view the future requirements, the demand from the government to set up additional two units of 10 thousand liters of liquid medical oxygen by the hospital administration has been approved. Presently all Oxygen Generation Plants of Hallet Hospital are running.

25 to 35 patients are coming daily for testing…

On an average, 25 to 30 people are coming to Hallett’s Dedicated Kovid Building for a Kovid test every day, after which the results are also given on the same day. Individuals can also download this report online/portal. 200 covid beds have been installed in this building. It has 24 hours clock wise medical facility.
