Mahindra Scorpio-N and Mahindra XUV700 are among the most preferred SUVs since they were introduced in the Indian market. Both mid-size SUVs used to command a long waiting period across the country due to supply chain issues faced by the manufacturer. However, Mahindra is now actively working on the production of the Scorpio-N and XUV700 which has reduced the waiting period significantly, as confirmed by our dealer sources. Here are the complete details.
Mahindra Scorpio-N waiting period
The Mahindra Scorpio-N is offered in five variants – Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L. The Z4 variant had a long waiting period till May 2023, however, now the Z8 Diesel MT variant commands the max waiting period of 50-55 weeks. The higher-spec Z8L Petrol AT variants command a minimum waiting period of 8-10 weeks.
The Z2 Petrol MT variants have a waiting period of 20-25 weeks, while the Z2 Diesel MT variants command a waiting period of 25-30 weeks. For Z4 and Z8 petrol MT variants of the Scorpio-N, customers have to wait for 35-40 weeks.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N price starts from Rs 13.26 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.
Mahindra XUV700 waiting period
Mahindra offers the XUV700 in five variants – MX, AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7L. The Mahindra XUV700 had a waiting period of more than 1 year, however, the same has now dropped by 4 months.

The XUV700 AX3 petrol MT variant has the shortest waiting period of 8-10 weeks, while the MX, AX3 and AX5 Petrol (Opt) and Diesel (Opt) command a waiting period of 40 weeks. The Mahindra XUV700 AX7 and AX7L have a waiting period of 24-26 weeks and 32-34 weeks, respectively.
