After joining the party, Kang said that this party is fighting on the streets for issues and concerns related to the people. In such a situation, I also consider myself lucky that by joining this family, I will get a chance to fight for the people.
He said – Since leaving BJP, there was a lot of speculation till now, which party I will join. But the point is that I have been associated with student activism and fought for the students. The same attitude is in me even today and this party is also a party out of students.
Kang further said that today Punjab is fighting for its existence. The farmer of Punjab is sitting in Delhi and the youth of this place is also moving to foreign countries. All the orthodox parties have failed to save the existence of Punjab. In such a situation, this is the only party that talks about guaranteeing people to remove their pain.
Let us inform here that Kang has been associated with student politics since university time. He was twice elected President of the Student Organization and twice a member of the Senate. Even after joining BJP, he held high positions. Leaving the post of BJP General Secretary, he also reached Delhi in support of the farmers’ strike.
