A meeting was held by the chairman of the market committee with the officials and local traders regarding the supply of dirty and incoming dirty water in the grain market, Kharar. In this meeting, Chairman of Market Committee Harkesh Chand Sharma told that work has been started to permanently remove the problem of dirty water coming in the market. The fault in the pipeline which was found regarding the supply of drinking water in the area has been rectified.
At the same time, permanent arrangements are also being made regarding this problem. He said that a proposal has been passed to demolish the old water tank located in Mandi and set up a new tube well there. In this regard, the work will be started after the approval from the Mandi Board. After which the problem of dirty water will be completely solved.
