NEW DELHI: Bengaluru-based Simple Energy on Sunday launched its maiden electric scooter Simple One at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom).
Simple One extracts power from a 4.5 kW motor and propels from 0-40 kmph in 2.95 seconds. The motor offers 4 ride modes – Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic.

The 4.8 kWh water-resistant IP67 battery offers a range up to 203 kilometers on a single charge in Eco mode. A home charger replenishes the battery to full in 2.75 hours.
Simple One is built on lightweight tubular chassis and is suspended over front telescopic forks and rear mono-shock. The e-scooter weighs 110 kilos and has an underseat storage of 30 litres.

Simple One will be available in four colour choices. Namma Red colour is dedicated to Karnataka, and Simple One is also available in azure blue, grace white and brazen black.
Pre-bookings have commenced for Rs 1,947 through company website. The Bengaluru-based EV maker aims to expand business across India and plans to set up 300 charging stations by the end of 2021.
