A tragic accident has happened at New Town Railway Station. Three people, including maternal niece, who were trying to alight with niece from a moving train, were killed after being hit by the Trivandrum Central Express. On information, GRP and RPF reached the spot and took the bodies in possession and sent them for postmortem. After identifying the dead, the GRP has informed the families about the incident.

According to the information, Keshav, a resident of village Karna in Ballabhgarh, had gone to his sister’s house in Kasganj, UP on July 8. From there, sixteen-year-old niece was coming to Faridabad with Palak. He was traveling by Punjab Mail. The train was passing from New Town station at around 10 pm. This train does not have a stoppage at New Town Railway Station. In such a situation, Keshav, along with niece Palak, tried to alight from the moving train when the speed of the train decreased. At the same time, Trivandrum Central Special train was going towards Mathura from Delhi side. Uncle niece came in his grip due to which both died on the spot. Not only this, another youth was also trying to land from Punjab Mail. He also came under the grip of Trivandrum Central Special train. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Manish. Manish was originally a resident of village Nadola in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. He used to work in a company in Ballabhgarh. GRP station in-charge Suratpal said that the information about the incident was given to the relatives of the deceased in the night itself. On getting the information, the family reached Faridabad. The post-mortem of the dead bodies was done and they were given snakes.
