On 14 June 2020, the body of actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from the fan in his flat in Bandra.

Today it has been a full year since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. CBI, ED, NCB, Bihar and Mumbai Police investigated the matter but even today it is not clear whether the actor’s death was murder or suicide? However, over the course of a year, many people came under the radar of the agencies investigating Sushant’s death, some of whom were very close to him. Today we are going to tell about 10 such characters, who have been questioned many times by the investigating agencies. He is also the king of Sushant. Out of these, 5 have also been arrested in the drugs case related to Sushant.

Character No. 1: Neeraj Singh, the cook
A big king of Sushant’s death was also the cook Neeraj, who worked in his house for 8 months. A few months before Sushant’s death, Neeraj was hired by his alleged girlfriend Riya Chakraborty. Neeraj has been questioned by Bihar, Mumbai, NCB and ED. Neeraj had told in his statement that on the day of suicide, Sushant had asked him for water and then he went to the room.

Neeraj had told that Sushant had a staff of 12 people earlier, out of which he had fired some people. Neeraj had also told that Sushant had gone to the room on the day of the incident. After this he knocked on the door of the room, but there was no reply. He went back after half an hour. Keshav Bachner did the same. He had also called Sushant twice, but did not get a reply. Then his sister was called.

Neeraj had said, ‘He was eating less, but he was fine. He was talking normally and did not seem depressed. We had neither heard of Disha nor seen her.

Character No. 2: Keshav Bachner, Cook
Keshav had been with Sushant for one and a half years. According to media reports, Keshav was hired by Riya. This is the person who last spoke to Sushant and gave him juice to drink. Keshav can best explain the state of mind before Sushant’s death. Apart from CBI, Mumbai and Bihar Police, NCB had questioned several times.

Character No. 3: Siddharth Pithani, Room Partner, Friend
Siddharth Pithani, the creative content manager and flatmate of Sushant, was known to be very close to the actor. Sushant hired Siddharth to make graphics in his company Vividrage RealityX. This company was run by Riya and his brother Shovik along with Sushant. It was Siddharth who first saw Sushant’s body hanging from the fan and called his sister Mitu. He has told the police that only on the behest of Mitu, he brought down Sushant’s body and checked his breath. Siddharth has also been questioned several times by CBI, ED, NCB, Mumbai and Bihar Police. Siddharth Pithani was arrested by NCB last month in the drug case related to Sushant.

Character No. 4: Dipesh Sawant, the caretaker of the house

Deepesh Sawant is a big character in the Sushant case. It went missing for a long time after being questioned by the Mumbai Police last year. After summoning by the NCB, he appeared again and after two rounds of interrogation, he was arrested by the NCB in the drugs case. According to the NCB’s chargesheet, he is accused of procuring and storing drugs for the actor. Dipesh Sawant has been questioned by ED, CBI, NCB and Mumbai Police. The ED wanted to know from Dipesh how the money was withdrawn from Sushant’s bank account before he died and what was Riya’s role in withdrawing money from the bank. Dipesh was also hired by Riya.

Character No. 5: Shruti Modi, Manager
Shruti used to manage Sushant’s finances and film work. Shruti has been questioned thrice by CBI, twice by Enforcement Directorate, 4 times by NCB team. The Mumbai Police team had also questioned Sushant after his death. Shruti had given information related to Sushant’s work and his investment to the ED. A chat of Shruti and Rhea Chakraborty was also leaked. Shruti had told the CBI that Ria used to take all the decisions of Sushant. Shruti also worked as Riya’s talent manager. Shruti’s name is also in the complaint filed by Sushant’s father for cheating in Bihar.

Character No. 6. Samuel Miranda, Manager
Samuel was Sushant’s house manager. He used to keep an account of the employees working in the house and the expenses. Samuel Miranda was later arrested by the NCB for procuring and hoarding drugs. Samuel Miranda was also named in the money laundering case registered by the ED. Sushant’s father has also named Samuel in his case. Apart from ED, Samuel was questioned by CBI, NCB and Mumbai Police.

Character No. 7: Priyanka Singh, Sushant’s sister
Actress Riya Chakraborty had filed a case against Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh at Bandra police station. In her complaint, Riya had accused Priyanka of forgery and giving banned medicines to Sushant. Priyanka had also approached the High Court against this FIR, but the court refused to quash her FIR. At present, the CBI is probing Riya’s allegation.

Character No.8: Mehesh Shetty, Sushant’s friend
Riya and Sushant’s common friend Mahesh Shetty has been interrogated by the CBI, Mumbai Police. Before he died, Mahesh was the last person whom Sushant called. However, his phone was not picked up and the two could not speak. Mahesh is known to be very close to Sushant and it is being said that he used to share his personal things with him.

Character No. 9: Shovik Chakraborty, Riya’s brother
Shovik was a partner in two companies of Sushant. Sushant’s father has made an accused in the FIR. After Riya, Shovik used to take all the decisions on behalf of Sushant. Shovik used to run the graphics company of the actor. He also used to go out with Rhea and Sushant. Apart from Mumbai Police, the team of CBI, Enforcement Directorate and ED has also questioned him several times. After Sushant’s death, one of his drugs chat went viral and NCB arrested him after the statement of a drug paddler. Presently he is out on bail.

character number 10, rhea chakraborty, girlfriend
Rhea Chakraborty is the most important character in Sushant’s life. Riya’s name is also there in the FIR registered by the CBI. Riya had said in the petition filed in the court that she was in a live-in relationship with Sushant. The team of Mumbai Police, CBI and Enforcement Directorate has questioned him 3 times. Riya was also a partner in all three companies of the late actor. Sushant’s father has accused him of abetment to suicide and fraud of Rs 15 crore. He appealed to the Supreme Court to transfer the case registered against him in Patna to Mumbai, which was rejected. Riya’s name also came in the drugs case related to Sushant, later she was arrested by NCB. Presently he is out on bail.
