Ravi Sah (16), a youth of Jaraikela, who went to take a bath with friends in Akiseida Nala located near Kaliapos under Bishra police station in Odisha, died due to drowning. A team of divers retrieved the body before Wednesday evening. This incident happened last Tuesday. Bishra police is taking further action by sending the body to Rourkela for post-mortem. According to the information received, Ravi, son of Ramashish Sah, resident of Jaraikela, Odisha, had gone to bathe in Akiseida Nala of Kaliapos in Saranda of Manoharpur block along with his friends Samu Sen, Priyadeep Pale, Rahul Sahu and Chhotu at 5 pm on Tuesday.

During this, the five youths went together to take a bath in a small temporary waterfall built in the drain. Ravi and one of his friends went into the deep water of the waterfall. During this, the sun kept flowing in the waterfall. By the time the eyes of his friends fell on Ravi, he disappeared. After this the four friends searched, but Ravi could not be traced. After this the matter was informed to Bishra police and family members. After that he was searched till around 11 pm on Tuesday, but nothing could be found. After that, a team of divers came from Rourkela at eleven o’clock on Wednesday morning with an oxygen cylinder, 20 hours after the incident, Ravi’s body was retrieved from the deep pit of the waterfall. The body was trapped near a stone in a deep pit.
