Bike-borne armed miscreants tried to rob a shopkeeper near the police post in Ballabhgarh’s Main Bazaar. The miscreants fled after raising the noise. Police have registered a case against unknown miscreants. Search for him is going on. The incident, which took place in broad daylight, raises questions about the security of the city. Earlier on the night of July 23, three miscreants had tried to rob the confectionery shop by firing.

According to the information, Devendra Goyal, a resident of Baniya Wada, has a grocery shop near Ghantaghar Chowk. On Monday morning at around 7 am, he was going by scooty to open shop from home. It is said that as soon as he reached out of the street of the house, two miscreants sitting in an ambush stopped him. On reaching near, the miscreants pointed a pistol at the businessman. Tried to snatch the bag kept in the scooty. The miscreants also tried to shoot the businessman but he failed. On raising the noise, the miscreants fled by waving the pistol in the air. All this incident was captured in the CCTV installed nearby. Police reached the spot and registered a case after investigation. Agrasen police outpost in-charge Vinod Gautam says that the miscreants are being identified from the CCTV footage.
