A young man who was walking died in a bike collision. The accident happened on Friday. The bike rider was also injured in this incident. Due to the collision of the bike, the young man was dragged for about 200 meters. At the same time, after going some further, the bike rider fell on the road. Here, on Saturday, people blocked the road for one and a half hours demanding compensation and making a breaker on the road.
The deceased was identified as Benjamin Minz (40). Benjamin was walking back from his relative’s house with his family members. During this, a bike rider coming from Gumla at a very high speed hit him from behind, due to which he died on the spot.
Bike rider Murshid Shah was seriously injured. On getting information about the incident, Raidih police reached the spot and sent the injured to Community Health Centre, Raidih. After first aid, he was referred to Gumla Sadar Hospital for better treatment.
