  • PM Will Distribute Food Grains To 4.25 Lakh Families Of The State, Shah Will Inaugurate Projects Worth 3906 Crores Bhoomi Pujan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute 5 kg foodgrain kits per beneficiary to 4.5 lakh poor Antyodaya beneficiaries from more than 17 thousand government approved cheap food grains ration shops. They will also have direct interaction with the beneficiaries at 5 ration shops in five districts. Apart from this, about 72 lakh families will be launched under NFSA to get 5 kg food grains per person.

Along with this, Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate various projects worth 3906 crores and perform Bhumi Pujan in the state on 7th August. The country’s Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate, perform Bhoomi Pujan and launch various development works from Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar in his virtual presence. He is also going to launch the Vatanprem scheme on the day of development. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna-Gramin, 382 crore 25 thousand houses will be dedicated and Bhumipujan will be done for 46 thousand houses worth 703 crores. Will inaugurate various works of ITI worth 245 crores.

Smart class will also be dedicated to 3659 schools of Gujarat

A total of 151 programs will be organized in the state including 100 primary and secondary schools and 51 higher education programmes. Apart from this, smart classes will also be dedicated to 3659 schools built with an expenditure of Rs 135 crore under the Gyankunj project. The 1050 schools constructed with an expenditure of Rs.95 crore, 71 Panchayat Ghar constructed with an expenditure of Rs.10 crore 26 lakh, Dholka and Navsari taluka panchayat house constructed with an expenditure of Rs.4 crore 80 lakh will be inaugurated. Computer labs will also be started in 256 secondary schools constructed with an expenditure of Rs 35 crore.

In-principle approval of 3 thousand crores to Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad has been given in-principle approval of Rs 3,000 crore by the World Bank. A grant of Rs 328 crore will be provided by the Asian Development Bank for water supply project of Rajkot, Rs 100 crore for municipal water supply project and Rs 38 crore for Green City Surat. A total of 40 programs will be organized in 8 municipalities and 32 districts on this day.
