After staying at Sir HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai for nearly 22 days, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray reached his home ‘Matoshree’ on Thursday after being discharged. He was admitted to the hospital on November 10 after suffering neck pain and was operated on on November 12. Dr Ajit Desai, the doctor of the hospital told that the CM is completely fit now and he has been given help to do work from home.

His son Aditya Thackeray had reached the hospital to bring CM Uddhav Thackeray. Before the surgery at the hospital, on the advice of the senior ortho surgeon doctors, various medical tests were done on him. After receiving the report of these tests, senior doctor was discussed with Chief Minister Thackeray. After this, it was decided to have an operation for neck pain.

Ignored neck pain in the wake of Kovid
Before being admitted to the hospital, the CM was seen wearing a collar belt in a program. During this, he had said that he did not even get a chance to raise his neck while fighting the corona virus. I ignored my neck pain, which is why this condition has happened.

Attended cabinet meeting held from hospital itself
During his stay in the hospital, last week, CM Thackeray had attended the cabinet meeting through digital medium from the hospital itself. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and other ministers attended the meeting. On behalf of the cabinet, Pawar had also wished Thackeray a speedy recovery. According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Thackeray had thanked his colleagues for their cooperation during his hospitalization.

After increasing the pain, the decision of surgery was taken
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also canceled several programs last month due to pain in his neck and spine. Because of the trouble, he was also reducing his meetings with people. He rarely met the visitors to his Varsha bungalow on Diwali. When CM Thackeray’s pain increased, it was after that he decided to undergo surgery.
