He repeatedly asked the woman to leave the job and when the woman did not agree, he poured a bottle of acid on her face on Thursday.

Ghatkopar police officer said that at the time when acid was thrown at the woman, shop Malik Sudhanshu Pramanik was also present in the jewelery shop there. Due to this, the hands and mouth of the shop owner have also been burnt. After this incident, both were taken to the nearest hospital, where they are undergoing treatment and the condition of the woman is said to be critical. In this case, Ghatkopar police arrested accused Prabuddha Kamble by registering a case under sections 323 and 504 of IPC.
