Early morning accident in Ranchi: A sand laden highway at Namkum’s Durga Soren chowk overturned uncontrollably, an elderly man who went on a morning walk was crushed to death, one injured

The sand laden highway was coming from Bundu side at high speed, suddenly it got out of control at Durga Soren Chowk.

The accident happened in Ranchi early in the morning. Here near Durga Soren Chowk of Namkum police station area, the sand laden highway coming at a high speed overturned uncontrollably. Due to this, a retired railway worker who went on a morning walk there has died. He lived with his family members in Lowadih. At the same time, one person is injured, who is being treated at RIMS.

After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it for post-mortem. The highway driver is absconding after the incident. The police have confiscated Hiva and taken it to the police station.

The fear of the child being buried created panic
Soon after the incident a crowd of people gathered on the spot. People told that a girl child has also been buried under the sand. In a hurry, the sand was removed by asking for JCB, but no child was found in it, then people heaved a sigh of relief.

Bhaskar has been continuously warning the administration about the issue of breaker at Durga Soren Chowk. This Chowk is very important in the outskirts of Ranchi. At this intersection, high speed vehicles come from Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Tatisilve, but due to the sudden turn, they become uncontrolled. As a result one lost his life today. Minor accidents happen often. If a breaker is made here, then accidents can be controlled.
