There has been a dispute in Maharashtra between the two parties of Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Congress. In fact, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday (March 9) declared Amol Kirtikar as his candidate from North-West Mumbai.

On this, Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam said on social media platform He called the Shiv Sena candidate a scammer of Khichdi scam and Shiv Sena a leftover party.

Nirupam wrote 4 things on social media…

1. Shiv Sena Bachi-Khuchi Party
Last evening, the chief of the remnant Shiv Sena declared the MVA candidate from North-West Lok Sabha constituency in Andheri. Calls have been coming since night. How can this be possible? Despite two dozen MVA meetings, the final decision on seat sharing has not been taken yet.

2. Shiv Sena declared candidate amid discussion
This seat is also among the 8-9 seats which are pending. This has been told to me by those Congress colleagues who are participating in seat sharing meetings. Then isn’t announcing the candidate from Shiv Sena a violation of alliance dharma? Or is such an act being done deliberately to humiliate Congress? The top leadership of Congress should intervene.

3. Shiv Sena candidate Khichdi scam scammer
Who is the candidate whose name has been proposed by Shiv Sena? Khichdi is a scammer. He has taken bribe in check from the Khichdi supplier. What is Khichdi Scam? During the Covid era, there was a commendable program by BMC to provide free food to forced migrant labourers.

4. Will Shiv Sena-Congress leaders campaign for such a scammer?
Shiv Sena’s proposed candidate has taken commission from the scheme of feeding the poor. ED is investigating the entire matter. Will Congress and Shiv Sena workers campaign for such a scam candidate? My question to the leadership of both the parties is this humbly?

There is a tussle between Congress and Shiv Sena on six seats in Mumbai.
There are total 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. In the state, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Sharad Pawar’s NCP and Congress are together under the Mahavikas Aghadi Alliance. There is no consensus among the three parties on seat sharing on 8 out of 48 seats.

Of these, six seats are from Mumbai. If sources are to be believed, Congress wants to contest elections on three out of six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai. This includes Mumbai South Central, Mumbai North Central and Mumbai North West. However, Uddhav Thackeray wants to contest elections on a total of 18 seats, of which four are from Mumbai. These include Mumbai South, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East and Mumbai South Central.

Sanjay Raut said – seat sharing has happened
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said- Seat sharing has been decided. Prakash Ambedkar’s Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi is also with us. Raut also targeted BJP. He said- They have so much fear of Mahavikas Aghadi, Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar that they have become nervous. MVA is in preparation for 40+. The change in power in the country will take place from the land of Maharashtra. That’s why BJP wants Prime Minister Modi to contest elections from Maharashtra. Due to this, Nitin Gadkari’s ticket may also be cut.
