Action of Palamu Police: 5 accused arrested in ruthless murder of woman, three absconding including a woman; was murdered on Wednesday morning

Apart from Amresh, brother-in-law of the deceased, police arrested Babwa alias Sushil Rajwar (30), Sunil Rajwar (25), Sanjay Rajwar (35) and Sharma Rajwar (19).

Surajmani Devi, a 40-year-old woman, was brutally murdered on Wednesday morning in Barwadih Godrama Khurd of Rehla police station area. In this case, the police have arrested five accused, while three accused including a woman are absconding. On Thursday, SDPO Surjeet Kumar told that the murder is the result of family enmity.

SDPO said that the deceased’s brother-in-law, Dresi alias Amresh Rajwar (30) along with the neighbors had beheaded the woman with a sharp weapon. Apart from Amresh, brother-in-law of the deceased, police arrested Babwa alias Sushil Rajwar (30), Sunil Rajwar (25), Sanjay Rajwar (35) and Sharma Rajwar (19).

Babwa, Sunil and Sanjay are all three brothers. All were taken into custody by the police only after the incident. Eight people are accused in the murder of the woman. The main accused Anil Rajwar and two others are out of the grip of the police. SDPO Surjeet told that the husband of the deceased Suresh Rajwar used to work outside. There used to be frequent fights between the accused and the woman.
