Police beat up Zomato delivery boy: Demonstration outside the police station, people said – If action is not taken against the accused Tiger Mobile, then they will march on foot till the SSP office

On Friday night, Zomato’s delivery boy Devendra Sahu was beaten up by Tiger Mobile’s jawans in Tank Road of Ulidih police station area. Devendra’s family members informed BJP leader Vikas Singh. Opposing the assault on the delivery boy, his family members and several BJP leaders gathered and demonstrated at the Ulidih police station on Saturday. Demanded from the station in-charge to take action against the soldiers of Tiger Mobile. Vikas Singh said that if action is not taken on the soldiers of Tiger Mobile, then the team will march from Mango Dimna Chowk to SSP office on foot.

It is alleged that the soldiers of Tiger Mobile attacked Devendra with sticks several times. Due to this there are deep wounds on his back. The injured told- Last night he was going back to his house on Tank Road after giving the last delivery. Meanwhile, two Tiger Mobile jawans on the bike stopped him by overtaking. After that beat him up.

Mobile and helmet were also damaged. After coming home, he narrated the ordeal to the family of the victim. Devendra, who was injured in the assault, alleged that the soldiers of Tiger Mobile were in a state of intoxication. The jawans unnecessarily assaulted him and abused him and also damaged the helmet and mobile.
